Video - Virat Kohli Returns To Batting Practice Before Dharamsala Test 1

In what can already be termed as an enthralling news, India skipper Virat Kohli has resumed his training and his shoulder seems to be recovering quite well. The Indian run-machine got into an ugly twist in the Ranchi Test, as his efforts to save a boundary on the opening day caused him an injury (shoulder). Despite batting at his usual No. 4 position, Kohli seemed in considerable discomfort and kept his shoulder under a bandage.

The official Facebook page of the Indian Cricket Team recently uploaded a video showing the Indian skipper warming up with the bat. Kohli was given a few throw downs, and the Delhi dynamite calmly stroked the deliveries away.

With just a day to go for the all-important series decider at the picturesque Dharamsala, the spotlight is bound to remain on Kohli. Till date, this series has panned out to be Kohli’s worst in terms of average as he has even failed to get going.

After a remarkable 2016 where he emerged as India’s best batsman in this format, Kohli has looked like a pale shadow of himself against the Kangaroos. Right at the start, the right-handed batsman has looked restless and has been constantly poking outside the off stump.

Being the champion he is, one can anticipate the batting machine to step up in the series decider. Kohli has proved his critics wrong on numerous occasions in the past, and this could well be another occasion. Below is the video of Kohli practicing against a few throw downs:
