Video: KL Rahul Undone By Pat Cummins Agressive Short-Pitch Bowling 1

KL Rahul has been getting the starts but failed to convert them into big as he lost his concentration throughout the four-match ongoing Border-Gavaskar series when he was dismissed on 60 off 124 balls which included four boundaries and a solitary six.

It was in the offing as Cummins had the ploy to bang the ball hard over the turf. In the 41st over, Cummins reaped the reward when he banged the ball short as KL Rahul played a rash shot when it came off from the bottom of his bat while attempting the pull shot which was well outside the off stump.

The ball lobbed in the air to find the hands of David Warner who completed the catch while sprinting from mid-off region.

The 24-year-old Rahul would not live to see his replays after throwing his wicket away on the bowling of Pat Cummins, who has made his Test return after six years.

The Karnataka-born Rahul had so far scored 60, 67, 90, 51 and 64 and further failed to extend his innings after starting well as the game progressed.

Playing his 17th Test match, KL Rahul is averaging 42.55 which further included four hundreds and six fifties.

Interestingly, out of his six half-centuries KL Rahul brought his five fifties during the ongoing four-match Test series which shows how good he has been at the top for India against Australia.
