1. Steve Finn (England): The right arm pacer of England bowled exceptionally well today. And the Indian batsmen were put in good amount of trouble by the good length deliveries bowled by Finn. He bagged 5 wickets in 8 overs and conceded just 33 runs.
2. James Anderson (England): The leading pacer of the England line up also produced great impact today with the ball. He took 4 wickets in 8.3 overs and conceded just 18 runs. It was truly a remarkable performance from him.
3. Stuart Binny (India): The all rounder played his part to a good extent. He came in a situation where Indian batting were struggling deeply. He scored a handy knock of 44 runs. With the ball too, he took the only wicket of the England line up.
FLOPS of the Match
1. Shikhar Dhawan(India): The Indian opener failed for yet another time today. He did not manage to score well and was out for a single run. He was dismissed by Anderson. Indian management will now have to consider the matter of opening batsmen seriously now.
2. Virat Kohli (India): He was surprised by a good length delivery from Finn and ultimately ended up in edging the ball and it was caught by Butler. He was dismissed at the score of 4 runs. It was rather a poor performance from him.
3. Suresh Raina (India): He was dismissed in a bizarre manner. He tried to be too much aggressive against Moeen Ali and stepped out of the crease and missed the ball ultimately. Then it was a matter of an easy stumping by Butler. He was dismissed at the score of only a single run.
