Mumbai Indians’ skipper Rohit Sharma and former skipper Harbhajan Singh will join the Mumbai Indians camp today (March 31). Rohit, who made a return competitive cricket after being ruled out after ODI series against New Zealand last year, was appointed as the skipper of India Blue in the Deodhar Trophy but was later ruled out due to a knee injury as a precautionary measure and it was Harbhajan Singh who led India Blue in his absence.
Along with them, will be joining the left-arm pacer Kulwant Khejroliya, who made his List A debut for Delhi in Vijay Hazare Trophy 2016/7. He bagged a total of 13 wickets in five matches and was called in the India Red squad for the Deodhar Trophy 2016/17.
England’s Jos Buttler and New Zealand pacer Mitchell McCleneghan will also join the camp today.
The two-time IPL champions will kick off the tourney with first game agaianst Rising Pune Supergiant on April 6. Before the start of the league, the Mumbai-based franchise will play a practice game on April 1 at Wankhede stadium.
