IPL 2017: Mumbai Indians Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya Declared Fit To Play 1
Rohit Sharma has scored 29 half centuries in nine seasons of IPL so far.

Mumbai Indians (MI) received a massive boost just days ahead of the start of the 10th season of the IPL, as skipper Rohit Sharma and seam bowling all-rounder Hardik Pandya were declared completely fit to participate in the tournament.

The duo has already joined the squad for the preparations. Rohit was on the sidelines due to a knee injury while Hardik, who was a part of the Border – Gavaskar series, inflicted a shoulder injury during the series and was ruled out.

The two-time champions were in a spot of bother for the past couple of week, as there was no clear news about the status of these two highly important components of the side. Rohit, whose last international match was way back in 2016, did not take part in training over the last few days and the fans were concerned about his availability. MI can certainly call themselves lucky as compared to teams like Rising Pune Supergiants and Royal Challengers Bangalore who have been hit brutally by the injury factor.

IPL fans would finally be relieved after seeing a string of big names getting ruled out of the tournament due to injuries. The list includes the likes of KL Rahul, Ravichandran Ashwin and Murali Vijay.
