Prior to the start of the tournament, the BCCI had stated there would be as many as eight opening ceremonies during the tenth edition of the Indian Premier League. However, it is safe to say that the opening ceremonies are yet to leave the fans impressed.
Just like the opening game of this year’s Indian Premier League, the second match of the tournament – between Mumbai Indians and Rising Pune Supergiants at the Maharashtra Cricket Stadium in Pune- was also preceded by a little opening ceremony.
The ceremony kick started with a display of the culture of the hosting city before Bollywood singer Shalmali Kholgade churned out some Bollywood chartbusters.

After that, captains of both the teams took a lap of the ground amid loud cheer. The ceremony concluded with a dance performance from Bollywood star Ritesh Deshmukh
However, just like yesterday the fans were less than impressed with the opening ceremony and took to Twitter to express their feelings. Here are some of the best reactions:
You watch #IPLOpeningCeremony for few minutes… and even RGV ki Aag feels like a classical film & most entertaining thing on the earth.
