ICC Champions Trophy: India To Play New Zealand & Bangladesh In Warm-Up Games 1

India will play New Zealand and Bangladesh in the warm-up games before the ICC Champions Trophy which kicks off from June 1 in England.

The defending champions will take on New Zealand on May 28 while they will square off against Bangladesh a couple of days later on 30th of May.

The eighth and the final edition of the Champions Trophy will see the top eight One-Day International teams as on September 30, 2015, battle it out in a round-robin and knockout tournament. The eight teams have been divided in two groups- Group A consisting of England, Australia, Bangladesh and New Zealand while Group B has defending champions India, South Africa, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

26/5/ 2017- Australia v Sri Lanka – The Oval
27/5/ 2017- Bangladesh v Pakistan – Edgbaston
28/5/ 2017- India v New Zealand – The Oval
29/5/ 2017- Australia v Pakistan – Edgbaston
30/5/ 2017- India v Bangladesh – The Oval
30/5/ 2017- New Zealand v Sri Lanka – Edgbaston

The main event will kick on with England taking on Bangladesh on June 1 at Kennington Oval, London. India will begin their title-defence against arch-rivals Pakistan on June 4 at Edgbaston, Birmingham. The final of the showpiece event will be played on June 18 in London.
