Visiting team Royal Challengers Bangalore won the toss and decided to bowl first in a delayed toss at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
AB de Villiers came back to bolster the RCB batting line-up, whereas, Samuel Badree too made a comeback on this spin friendly track. Shane Watson and Travis Head made way for them.
Tymal Mills, who missed the last game due to fever came back in the side too.
There was only one change in KKR XI from their last game, as they dropped Shakib al Hasan for all-rounder Colin de Grandhomme.
Gautam Gambhir:
“We would have loved to bowl first as well, but you can’t manage the toss. We will have to put up a good score on the board and defend it. One change for us, Colin de Grandhomme replaces Shakib Al Hasan.”
Virat Kohli:
“We will bowl first. It’s a pretty good wicket, might be a bit tacky with the new ball, will look to exploit it. It’s a good chasing ground. Two changes. AB is back and Badree is back as well. They replace Shane Watson and Travis Head.”
