The show started as they showed a promo package on Braun Strowman. It showed Braun’s domination on Roman two weeks ago, and also showed the footage of his match against the Big Show and the epic stage collapse.
Chris Jericho came out to the arena. Chris Jericho welcomed everyone on the Highlight reel. He talked about his match on this Sunday against Kevin Owens for the US championship. He said this was his last highlight reel on Raw because after Payback’s match he would head to Smackdown. He said he himself was the guest of the show.
The Miz and Maryse interrupted Chris Jericho. Miz said that the highlight reel was officially cancelled and it was replaced by Miz TV. Miz brought people to replace the ring with his stuff.
Dean Ambrose interrupted them now. Ambrose now replaced Miz’s stuff and made it the Ambrose Asylum show.
Ambrose welcomed everyone to Ambrose’s asylum and said Jericho, Miz and Maryse are his guests for the night. Ambrose gave Jericho a present because he once burnt his 15k dollars jacket. Jericho opened it and it came out to be a new lightening suit. Ambrose mimicked Jericho by saying ‘Try it on man!’ Miz said that Raw superstars should be thankful for saving them from a mediocrity show. Ambrose said that he had a gift for Miz and he nailed him with the Dirty Deeds. At the end of the segment, Jericho put Maryse on his list.
Match 1 – Sheamus vs. Matt Hardy
It was an average match. It could be a way better match. These are the opportunities that Smackdown booking team capitalises better. Matt Hardy won the match after he pinned Sheamus after the Twist of Fate.
Winner – Matt Hardy
Match 2 – TJ Parkins and WWE Cruiserweight champion Neville vs. Jack Gallagher and Austin Aries
Cruiserweight action time as the match started in a good way. The match overall turned out to be a good one as it was a pretty physical contest. Austin Aries pinned TJ Parkins with the Discuss Five Arm to earn the victory for his team.
Winners – Jack Gallagher and Austin Aries
Match 3 – Dumpster match – Braun Strowman vs. Kalisto
They promoted this match as ‘the first ever’ dumpster match on Monday Night Raw. We all knew the outcome of this match so nothing special it. The only thing to see was the ‘first ever’ dumpster match, what was it actually. For the younger fans who do not know about it; the goal of this match was to put your opponent on the Dumpster. The last time I could remember they arranged a dumpster match was at WrestleMania XIV where the tag team championship was defended in a dumpster match, Cactus Jack and Chainsaw Charlie defeated the New Age Outlaws to win the titles in that match. Now let us talk about the latest Dumpster match. Strowman dominated the match as expected. But they did not present Kalisto as a too weak wrestler. He reminded us of Rey Mysterio sometimes in this match. The biggest shock of this match was Kalisto winning. Yes, Kalisto won the dumpster match. After the match, Strowman beat down Kalisto badly. It was a terrible beat down.
Winner – Kalisto
A promo package for Roman Reigns was shown next.
Match 4 – Alicia Fox vs. Dana Brooke
Nothing was so exciting about this match as the fans in the arena seemed least bothered about this match. Emma was outside the ring during the match. Dana pinned Alicia Fox with the Michinoku Driver to pick up the win. After the match, Emma came in and hugged Dana to congratulate her.
Winner – Dan Brooke

Match 5 – Six-Man Tag Team action – Seth Rollins, Big Cass and Finn Balor vs. Samoa Joe, Gallows and Anderson
As Enzo and Cass was heading towards the ring, Samoa Joe, Gallows and Anderson attacked them. They started beating them as Seth Rollins came out for the save but Enzo took enough damage already that he could not compete. He was replaced by Finn Balor. Seth Rollins picked up the win over Karl Anderson. Seth hit a new finisher in this match, he teased the Pedigree but did not hit it, he pinned Anderson with some type of knee to the face.
Winners – Seth Rollins, Big Cass and Finn Balor
Alexa Bliss came out to the arena. She made fun of Bayley in her small promo. What a promo it was! It was just amazing! It showed why she earned all the spotlight she was having. Bayley interrupted her. Bayley said that she was not just talking like Alexa and she could not take her spotlights away from her. Once again Alexa cut a hilarious promo and mocked Bayley. Sasha Banks interrupted. They started arguing as we got to know that they had a match next.
Match 6 – Sasha Banks vs. Alexa Bliss
The match was going well as Sasha Banks was getting control of the match Alexa decided to walk out of the match. Sasha by count out and Alexa was leaving. Bayley chased her and Alexa ran away. Bayley turned her back and Alexa came back and attacked her from behind. As Sasha chased Alexa she ran away this time.
Winner – Sasha Banks by Count Out
Main Event – Chris Jericho and the Intercontinental champion Dean Ambrose vs. Miz and ???
It was a good match. Maybe not the best main event in the Raw history but it was enjoyable. Miz was scheduled to get a mystery partner who turned out to be… no one. Miz was scheduled to search out a partner. But as he could not find one, he could not find one, he had to face Jericho and Ambrose in a handicap match. The match was being dominated by the duo as Miz decided to escape. Dean Ambrose attacked him from behind and when he was about to decimate Miz Bray Wyatt showed up. He beat down both Ambrose and Jericho. Miz thought Bray came in for his help but Bray nailed Miz too with the Sister Abigail.
Result – No Contest
