IPL 2017: Weather Report - Will RCB v GL Be A Washout? 1

Royal Challengers Bangalore are not having any luck on their side as they have not played up to their potential and if the forecast is to go by, the Bangalore team could be affected with yet another rain-affected game on Thursday when they face Gujarat Lions.

Both Gujarat Lions and Royal Challengers Bangalore have not turned up this season and are languishing at the bottom half of the table as they face a difficult scenario to qualify for playoffs this season.

The Royal Challengers have lost against the Kolkata Knight Riders at the weekend as they suffered a bitter defeat after getting all out for just 49 in 9.4 overs. The luck was not on the home side’s favour on Tuesday when they hosted Sunrisers Hyderabad as the match was abandoned due to rain without a single ball being bowled.

The 31st game of the 10th edition could also see a similar fate if forecasts from the meteorological department are to go by as rain gods are set to show their presence in this important battle for both the sides.

If the weather forecast is to go by, Bangalore will receive rain till 10:00 pm before a little respite. However, the forecast was till 9:30 for the game against Sunrisers and the rain went on till 11 pm before the match was called off. The signs do not look good for the fixture and we can only hope that we can get a proper cricket match this evening.

Both RCB and Gujarat Lions are in desperate need of points and if the match gets called off they will need to share one point each which will not be an ideal scenario for both the sides.

The fans and the teams alike will hope for a good match and pray that rain doesn’t affect the game even after disappointing forecast predictions.
