It is quite hard to believe that Virat Kohli, who had the whole world at his feet just a couple of months ago, is struggling to score runs consistently. After a indifferent showing in the Test series against Australia, the India skipper would have hoped to get his mojo back in the familiar ground of the Indian Premier League where he had scored four centuries last year. However, he has failed to get back to his best yet and his miseries only continued in the ongoing match against Kings XI Punjab where he was dismissed for a paltry 6.

Kohli came out to bat after Chris Gayle departed even without opening his account and with his team all but out of the tournament, the skipper would have desperately hoped to guide his team to a morale boosting win against the Punjab-based outfit. However, his hopes were brutally ended by brilliant inswinging delivery from Sandeep Sharma.

Seeing Kohli dancing down the track, Sharma pitched his delivery around off and middle. In the meanwhile, Kohli swung hard but missed the ball completely as it moved in a bit after pitching and went on to shatter Kohli’s middle and leg-stump.
