Aston Villa recently axed Paul Lambert from managerial role because the team was badly underperforming. But the decision was right as Aston Villa are currently 18th in the Premier League table having won just 5 Premier League games this whole season. Worst thing was that the whole team was facing problems in finding the back of the net despite having some forwards with great potential like Benteke and Weimann. As of now Scott Marshal is managing Aston Villa on interim basis but is expected to be replaced very soon. And recently Scott Marshal also quoted that Aston Villa need a good experienced manager.

According to latest reports former Spurs boss Tim Sherwood is expect to be appointed as the next Aston Villa Boss within next 48 hours.

Tim Sherwood has very less managing experience as he has managed Spurs for only 8 months and is currently without any job. His time with the North Londoners was pretty impressive though as he rescued them from sinking deep down the Premier League table and managed to get a Europa League spot.

Tim’s strengths as a manager are his tactical awareness, he is very good at getting the best out of players and he has the ability to gel the squad irrespective of how the players are. It will be very exciting to see him manage Aston Villa and if he gets the job we can expect big things from Villa now.
