According to the latest reports from Brazil, Manchester United is tracking the Brazilian young sensation Robert Kenedy who is dubbed as the next Neymar. The Red Devils have been watching the 19-year old striker for a few years now and are willing to pay £5 million to bring him to Old Trafford. The young striker have been at Fluminense since 2009 and was produced from their youth academy.
Having been performing well for both U-17s and U-20s for Brazil, he has drawn much interest from other clubs as well. The reports also suggest that Inter Milan are also willing to pay as much as the Red Devils ffor the services of the young sensation. It is also observed, United increased their interest in the striker after his consistent performances to Brazil’s U-17 national side.
According to local newspaper, the youth coach at Fluminense has admitted that Manchester United are the front-runners to sign the young prodigy. With Inter Milan lurking around, Manchester United are bidding on their good relationships with the club.
The Red Devils also signed the twins Rafael and Fabio from the Brazilian club, Fluminense, back in 2008. So Manchester United are hopeful that their past ties would help in sealing the deal for the young sensation. It is now upto the Red Devils to capitalize on their good relations to get the striker ahead of Inter Milan in the summer transfer window.
