The Indian team management have announced that Ravichandran Ashwin and Bhuvneshwar Kumar are available for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 match team selection against Proteas on Sunday at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). Bhuvneshwar Kumar has had an injury issue ealrier last year on the tour to Australia and has appeared in only 3 matches in the previous month. On Wednesday Ravichandran Ashwingot injured on the hand in practice but he is announced fit for the next match.
India’s team media manager Dr. RN Baba made it clear by an email that the two players (Ravichandran Ashwin and Bhuvneshwar Kumar) are obtainable for the next match. Before the match against Pakistan, there was a lot of conjecture about Bhuvneshwar Kumar as he bowled very little in net practice. He did not participated in the ICC World Cup opener. On Wednesday Bhuvneshwar Kumar was seen at practice in Melbourne as well, where he did not bowl too much. However, Ravichandran has got injury on the hand during practice session in Melbourne but continued to bat thereafter.
India had started their World Cup 2015 crusade with a 76 run emphatic win over Pakistan. They will now compete with South Africa on Sunday at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
