Thanks to the exploits of Kohli and Yuvraj, India managed to smash 106 runs in the last eight overs.

On the other hand, Pakistan batsmen crumbled under the bowling attack. Kohli must not be happy with the fielding performance but Jadeja’s catch and the direct hit to dismiss Malik was a stunner indeed.

Umesh Yadav and Co. struck at regular intervals, as Sarfraz Ahmed’s men could manage just 164 for nine with injured Wahab Riaz not coming out to bat.

Virat and his team looked determined to win their first game and Kohli’s captaincy came out well, as he kept on rotating the bowlers. even the inclusion of Hardik in the squad was a smart move, as he was well off with both ball and bat.

As they won. millions of tweets and wishes came flowing in on social media and thus the former Indian all-rounder, Irfan Pathan too came on to congratulate.

India will now take positives out from the game and also improve fielding once the look to lock horns with Sri Lanka on 8th June at The Oval.
