Antonio Conte, the current Chelsea manager is dreaming of a move for Italian superstar Leonardo Bonucci and is still looking for a way to sign him.
The Blues managed to lift their second league title in three years under two different manager as the Italian mastermind became the first manager to lift the title in his first season in England.
He accumulated a star-studded Chelsea squad with every player assigned a stringent role and that has seen them create history last season.
However, the loss in the FA Cup final against Arsenal should have opened the manager’s eyes as he will now look to improve on certain areas in the squad to avoid such shortcomings.
This has seen him linked with some of the best players in Europe and one such player who is now linked with a move to the Bridge is Italian defender Leonardo Bonucci.

Standing as one of the best centre-backs in Europe, Bonucci helped his side to the Champions League final recently but could not help them lift the trophy.
He is an integral part of the Juventus squad but at 30, might not be able to start game regularly in a year’s time.
This might tempt him to make a move away from Italy in search of some competition and this might help Conte land him this summer.
Reports from the Express state the Chelsea and Conte are ready to offer him a bumper contract and are ready to meet Juventus’ valuation as they grow desperate for a centre-back this summer.
Conte has been looking at Dutch star Virgil van Dijk but he seems close to a move to Liverpool and it looks like he has decided not to waste any time in tempting Bonucci to England.

According to these reports, the Blues are prepared to offer him a four-year deal which would see him pocket around £115,000 a week.
At 30, he has all the experience in the world and is surely going to make Chelsea’s squad better but his transfer fee, quoted at around €60m, is something that might put Chelsea off.
With hardly any such replacements available, Conte will look to negotiate and quickly seal this deal for the defensive beast from Italy.
