Manchester United have taken a big step in securing their top transfer target Alvaro Morata this summer.
The Red Devils failed to clinch a place in the top-4 of the Premier League points table but were able to find a way into the Champions League, helping themselves to the Europa League title, that helped them get into the elite competition.
But with the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Juan Mata and Wayne Rooney expected to leave the club this summer, Jose Mourinho is already looking at possible additions, to help his side compete at the highest stage next season.
And one name that is constantly ringing at Old Trafford is Spanish striker Alvaro Morata.

After hogging the limelight in his time in Italy, Morata failed to establish a first-team place at the Bernabeu in his second stint and has fallen down the pecking order under new manager Zinedine Zidane.
He did get a couple of minutes in the UCL final at Cardiff but is not expected to stay at the Bernabeu beyond this summer.
Italian giants AC Milan reportedly were close to agreeing on a deal with the player but Jose Mourinho, who worked with the player in his time in Spain, has now stolen ahead in the race by making the first approach.
According to reports from the Sky Sports Italia, Manchester United have made a £52.4m bid for Morata for a move this summer.
It is understood that Morata prefers a move to the Premier League but Real Madrid have reportedly rejected the bid from the English club and are demanding well in excess of £70m.

According to the same report, Manchester United were told that they will have to pay up £78m for his services this summer.
In an inflated market like the current one, it is not too surprising to see the European Champions holding out for such a fee for one of their prized possession but given the situation at the club, it is hard to see the player agreeing to stay back, which might give Untied a chance to sign him at a cheaper price.
However, the same report also claims that if Morata is not available at a favourable price, the Red Devils are prepared to stump €100m (£87.3m) for Torino forward Andrea Belotti.
Morata remains their priority at the moment. Do you think they can sign him up?
