2017 ICC Champions Trophy: England Vs Australia - England Player's Ratings 1

In a do-or-die game, Austalia was handed a defeat by their arch-rivals England, who already had one seat booked in the semi-final of the Champions Trophy. Kangaroos did have a solid start in the defence of their total but failed to put a cap on their middle order, which kept them away from the game. Skipper  Eoin Morgan led by an example, scoring 87 runs so as the Test vice-captain Ben Stokes, who scored a century (102*) and stayed there till the end.

By continuing their winning run, England is going in the semi-final with an unbeaten streak in the group stages which automatically puts their opposition under pressure, an advantage which they will cherish.
