Messi is now getting ready for what is easily one of the most important months of his life, not just his football career.
The Argentine hitman failed to take his Barcelona side into the semi-finals of the Champions League and also had lost out on the league trophy as they failed to find consistency throughout the season.
But Messi will not let that dampen his spirits for the next season as he has a very important month coming up.
The Barcelona star helped Argentine beat Brazil in a friendly in Australia and will be ready for their next international outing but at the moment, he has bigger things to worry about.

The 29-year old is on the verge of signing a new contract with the Spanish club but the fans might have to wait for a bit longer as he is now off to a holiday.
It is understood that Messi and Chelsea star Cesc Fabregas, who had a bond in their time at the Camp Nou will spend time away with family in Ibiza to get away from the pressures of the sport. They are also joined by Uruguayan star Luis Suarez, who was seen enjoying the trip to Ibiza, near the blue waters, taking a ski with his kids.

Messi will turn 30 later this month and it is understood that he is expected to sign a new contract before he turns 30.
However, it is revealed that he has kept all contract talks on hold till he is back from the holiday.
But it is understood that Messi’s father Jorge is currently in Barcelona closing the final details of his new deal which he will sign as soon as he back from Ibiza.
If signing a contract and turning 30 does not constitute an important month for one of the best players in the sport, he is also set to get tie the knot on the 30th of June.

Messi will marry his partner, the mother of his two boys, Antonella Roccuzzo on June 30 in Rosario, completing a memorable month.
Even in the off-season, Messi just cannot stay off the news and these reports will not keep the Barcelona fans waiting for the announcement of his contract extension that could come right after he is back from his holiday.
Hopefully, the 29-year old will have a similarly exciting season to show for in the upcoming campaign.
