Arsenal have told Chilean international Alexis Sanchez that he will need to find a new club outside Premier League as they will not be accepting any offers from their rivals, according to reports.

The 28-year old is expected to leave Arsenal this summer and is expected to make a move to Manchester City to play under Pep Guardiola.

However, according to Daily Mail, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is still hopeful of making Sanchez sign a new deal at the club. If he refuses over a new deal then the club are not going to entertain any deals from their league rivals.

Sanchez, who is arguably the best player in Premier League last season, will be into his last year of his contract at Arsenal and will be eligible to sign a precontract with his next club by January.

Sanchez has drawn interest from numerous clubs across Europe which include the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Juventus. However, the latest hard stance taken by club meant he should either sign a new contract with the club or leave his home in London and move abroad.

Bayern Munich and Juventus are keen to sign the winger but they are only ready to do a cut-price deal since he will be into his final year of contract. Both Manchester City and Chelsea, who have spoken to Sanchez’s representatives are believed to offer £45 million to sign him.

However, European giants are not willing to match that offer which could mean he could stay with the club even if he doesn’t sign a new deal.

It is quite a risky game that Gunners are playing to keep their star man but he could move next summer if things are not sorted over his new contract soon.

It will be a huge loss for the club if they fail to tie him down to a new deal as he has been their best player since arriving to Emirates from Barcelona few years ago.

Sanchez had featured in 51 games for Arsenal across all competitions in which he managed 30 goals and 19 assists making him one of the best players in the world.
