Social media is not a place to commit blunders, especially the ones that can directly harm your repute. It is also not a place where anything could be hidden. But, Saeed Ajmal, the former Pakistan off-spinner, simply forgot these two thumb rule and made a mockery of himself yesterday.
Pakistan registered yet another stunning win in the 1st semi-final where they beat England by 8 wickets to become of one of the finalists vying for the coveted Champions trophy. The win came as a huge gift to the Pakistan cricket team as they battled high expectations and inconsistency to reach this level.
Everyone was ecstatic including Saeed Ajmal. Just like most of former cricketers and experts, Ajmal also posted a congratulatory tweet to wish the Pakistan cricket team. However, there was one problem with the tweet.
It was a blatantly copied tweet which Ajmal picked from one of Kumar Sangakkara’s older tweets. This fact was instantly brought to notice and soon the fun began.
Great win by Pakistan To come back from the first game against india and now make a final by beating england shows great character.

Amusing Tweets aside, it is currently celebration time in Pakistan. The side was one of the least fancied names before the start of the competition. To make things worse, they were thrashed by 124 runs in a one-sided contest by arch-rivals India in the tournament opener. But, 10 days later, they have become the first team to qualify for the finals and are waiting for their challengers.
They made a remarkable comeback. After losing to India, they won against South Africa comprehensively and later Sri Lanka was made to taste dirt in the all-important final game of the group stage.
The odds were against Pakistan in the semi-final as well where they had their fixture against title favourites England. However, the highly motivated side brushed aside the challenge without much hassle and are now just one step away from getting their hands on the trophy.
