Former Pakistan cricketer-turned-commentator Rameez Raja, who has been the sane voice certainly for a reason for Pakistan in particular, has received a backlash for his commentary stint which further saw social media players were sent into the tizzy during the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy, as Pakistan claimed their first-ever coveted trophy by thrashing India by 180 runs at the Oval on Sunday.

The 55-year-old former batsman Rameez, is one of the commentators, who emotionally charges up to get carried away in the heat of a moment which further witnesses Twitter users giving it back to the right-handed batsman which further saw commentators teasing each other when their respective countries were playing.

Interestingly, the social media revealed Rameez as a blessing in disguise for Team India while stating his praise for Pakistan has been the downfall of the batsmen.

While holding the mic it’s Rameez, who at times make things quite difficult for himself and when India was facing arch-rivals Pakistan everyone was looking for a chance to register his say on the social media platform to prove his/her side better in or way or another.

As the India-Pakistan lured record numbers of viewers, it is the voice with visuals that adds the charm to the matches which have been telecasted worldwide.

The viewers further revealed they don’t have a liking four couple of commentators after finding their voices itching to their ears.

Interestingly, Rameez was the only commentator, who got the prediction right among the ICC Champions Trophy commentators.

Before the start of the eighth edition of the multilateral event, Rameez revealed Pakistan will face-off India and the Men in Green will emerge as victorious.
