So it does not come as a surprise that almost the whole world knew instantly when Neymar Jr broke up with his girlfriend Bruna Marquezine.
The duo was the talk of the town when Neymar joined the Catalan giants long ago but they split for the first time in 2014 and were also all over the news at that time.
Neymar was single all these years but rekindled the spark with his former girlfriend during the Olympic gold-winning stint with the Brazilian national team, after which they were spotted together at various locations.
However, Neymar has now revealed that they are no longer an item and that they ended terms as good friends.
Attending a charity event for his charity at the at the Neymar Jr. Institute in Sao Paulo Neymar spoke about his break up.
He said: ‘I do not like to talk about personal things, but yes, me and Bruna are separated. It’s a decision we have taken.
‘It was a decision of both parties. Bruna is a girl I admire a lot and I hope she is happy, not only professionally but in her personal life. Life goes on, because this is a part of it. We end as good friends.’

Though it is now clear as to why they broke up, certain stories claim that Neymar proposed to Bruna, 21, who rejected him.
The Daily Mail have run a story on this and revealed how Neymar had a hair-do for his single life.
Present at this charity auction was former Barcelona star Dani Alves, who is now close to a move to Manchester City.
Neymar has continued his good work in his home country and let’s hope that his personal affairs do not effect his game next season.
