Real Madrid Lead The Way In World Soccer's Most Influential 500 Players List 1

Real Madrid dominate the list of top 500 footballers in the world as the Los Blancos have 19 players from their club in World Soccer’s ‘Most Influential 500’.

The Spanish giants are head & shoulders above every other club in the world and are far ahead from the second best team.

Keylor Navas, Dani Carvajal, Sergio Ramos, Raphael Varane, Pepe, Nacho, Marcelo, Casemiro, Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, Isco, Marco Asensio, Mateo Kovacic, James Rodriguez, Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema, Alvaro Morata and Jesus Vallejo have all featured in the list representing Real Madrid.

German champions Bayern Munich are second in the list and have 14 players representing them. Barcelona are the third best with 13 players alongside Premier League champions Chelsea and Series A title holders Juventus.

The players from Camp Nou are: Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Jordi Alba, Samuel Umtiti, Gerard Pique, Sergi Roberto, Ivan Rakitic, Andres Iniesta, Sergio Busquets, Andre Gomes, Paco Alcacer, Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez

Atletico Madrid are in sixth position in the list with 12 players alongside German club Borussia Dortmund.

Jan Oblak, Juanfran, Filipe Luis, Diego Godin, Jose Gimenez, Yannick Carrasco, Fernando Torres, Gabi, Kevin Gameiro, Koke, Saul and Antoine Griezmann have all featured in the list for Atletico Madrid.

When the leagues are considered, La Liga came out on top once again featuring 66 players in top 500 narrowly beating Bundesliga (64), Premier League (63) and Italian Serie A (60).

As far as countries are taken into account, Spain managed to be the leader once again with 47 players beating second placed France who had 41 players on the list.

The Spanish players are Aritz Aduriz, Jordi Alba, Paco Alcacer, Iago Aspas, Alejandro Grimaldo, Marco Asensio, Hector Bellerin, Bruno Soriano, Sergio Busquets, Jose Callejon, Ignacio Camacho, Dani Carvajal, Pedro Conde, Diego Costa, David De Gea, Cesc Fabregas, Vicente Iborra, Asier Illarramendi, Andres Iniesta, Inigo Martinez, Isco, Javi Martinez , Juanfran, Koke, Ivan Marcano, Alvaro Morata, Nacho, Oscar De Marcos, Mikel Oyarzabal, Pedro, Gerard Pique, Alejandro Pozuelo, Sergio Ramos, Pepe Reina, Victor Ruiz, Saul, Sergi Roberto, David Silva, Thiago Alcantara, Fernando Torres, Oliver Torres, Borja Valero, Vitolo and Inaki Williams.

The list once again confirmed why Spanish teams are doing so well in Champions League and Europa League over the past few years.
