Wahab Riaz, the Pakistan rising all-rounder has said that his side would embrace an aggressive mind-set to counter dashing batsman AB de Villiers for their crunch International Cricket Council Cricket World Cup 2015 tie on Saturday against South Africa in Auckland.
Pak Passion reported, explaining the South African captain as ‘destructive’, Wahab Riaz said that the overall plan was to bowl with an attacking aggressive mind-set, and also added that attack was the best form of defense against South Africa.
Focusing further on the tactics, Wahab Riaz said that the attempt would be to bowl as fast as they could and also to put pressure on AB de Villiers by bowling dot balls. He said that it just needs one good delivery to get him out.
Pakistan won two consecutive matches against Zimbabwe and the United Arab Emirates to seize 4 points in the Pool B table. Earlier in the World Cup, Misbah-ul-Haq-led side had faced two consecutive insulting defeats against India and the West Indies before registering their first victory.
