Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo’s future at the club remains uncertain as he is set for showdown talks with president Florentino Perez once he returns from his holiday.

Exit Imminent?

The 32-year old is one of the best players of all time and has been the face of Real Madrid since his move from Manchester United eight years ago. He has continuously played an important role in every season he played and won three Champions League titles with Los Blancos in the last four years.

However, despite his anger over his latest tax fraud allegations by Spanish tax authorities, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is confident that no club in the world has the financial stability to accommodate the signing of Ronaldo.

The Portuguese captain has a world record fee release clause and the new club will also need to pay his staggering £420000 per week wages which will be a daunting task. There is also no bigger club than Real Madrid in the world and it is his best chance to add more Champions League trophies to his impressive trophy cabinet.

Will It Be Real Madrid’s Loss?

Partially yes. Cristiano Ronaldo is the greatest goalscorer for Real Madrid in their illustrious history and the best player they had in several decades. But the Spanish giants are the best team in the world and still has the class to replace the 32-year old if they decide to.

The Spanish club has nothing to do with the tax authorities neither with the allegations made on the player. They cannot be portrayed as the reason for Ronaldo’s exit if the player decides to leave Santiago Bernabeu this summer.

Real Madrid are such a big club they hardly miss any player. For instance, once the club’s biggest legend Alfredo di Stefano decided to leave Real Madrid in 1964, the club have undergone transition quite normally.

Despite the charisma and goal scoring abilities of Ronaldo, Zidane still has the class in his team to ensure that they get more trophies in the near future. The club has the ability to sign any player that they wish to and it will be Ronaldo who will be lost if he decides to move away from Spain as he is not on a decline yet.
