Everton striker Romelu Lukaku could be on a move to Old Trafford this summer after his latest video adds speculations to Manchester United transfer.
Proven striker in Premier League
Lukaku is one of the best strikers in Premier League as he scored an impressive 25 goals in the league last season with the Toffees. The Belgian is currently enjoying his holidays in Los Angeles as his recent Instagram story had seen him enjoying with a couple of people who are apparently Manchester United fans in Red Devils jersey.
The Belgian is heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge as Antonio Conte is determined to sign a new top class striker after his bust-up with Spaniard Diego Costa. The 24-year old had scored 25 goals in Premier League last season for Everton in 37 league appearances as he was one of the best forwards in the country.
He narrowly missed out on the golden boot after Tottenham striker Harry Kane’s late form that saw him score eight goals in his last three league games.Lukaku has been prolific in front of the goal and Chelsea fans are enthusiastic to see him back at the club but this might not happen as the striker is more keen to join Manchester United and reunite with his former manager Jose Mourinho. He was also linked with a move to Bayern Munich, as the German giants are one of his father’s favourite clubs.
Manchester United makes signing striker priority
The Red Devils are keen to add a quality striker to their roster going into next season as they are set to compete with the best in Champions League. The horrific knee injury to Zlatan Ibrahimovic last season meant the Swede was released by the club earlier this summer.
The club are linked with a move to Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata after Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann decided to commit his future to the Spanish club. However, a proven talent like Romelu Lukaku would be a safer bet for Manchester United as the Belgian had superb success in his Premier League career.
Considering their poor transfer business since the retirement of Sir Alex, Lukaku could be the wiser choice than Morata.
