Barcelona’s attacking trio Lionel Messi, Luiz Suarez and Neymar Jr. are set to work together for the fourth year this season. The three players have defined a new dimension in attacking as they managed to score more than 100 goals between them in every season over the past three years.

However, this is the first time that all the three players have started their pre-season together since the signing of Suarez from Liverpool in the summer of 2014. At least one of the three players were given an extended break or got injured in each of the last three seasons.

In 2014 summer, Suarez was banned by FIFA from playing football for four months after the sanctions for biting Chellini in World Cup. Neymar had also missed the start of the season after suffering injury during 2014 World Cup.

The Brazilian forward was also out at the start of 2015/16 season due to illness and was away to play Rio Olympics last summer. The trio had accounted from a jaw dropping 363 goals during their time together under Luis Enrique in the past three seasons.

Their extraordinary exploits meant Barcelona had a Champions League success and also won two league titles in the past three years keeping them amongst the very best in the world. But the trio are set to start once again from the beginning under the watchful eyes of new manager Ernesto Valverde.

They are set to learn new things and improve their game as the club are desperate for European success. After Real Madrid’s incredible run in Champions League, where they won three titles in the past four years, Barca are keen to get back to their best under Valverde.

But the task will not be an easy one for the new manager as he looks to begin his time at the club on a positive note despite the ominous pressure. However, the success of the club once again comes on how well MSN can tear apart the defenses this summer as they look for much better success than last season, when they managed to win Copa del Rey alone.
