The ICC World Cup 2015 has been a pretty high scoring one with plenty of runs being scored. We have seen totals of over 300 runs for a number of times. Also, totals of over 400 runs were being made for as many as Four times. Also, there have been a number of centuries being struck. With the intent of such sheer aggression being going on in this World Cup.

We have come up with an idea to summarize the players with the most number of sixes:

Chris Gayle, 26: The Jamaican giant managed to hit a total of 26 sixes in this tournament so far. Out of those, 16 came in the innings against Zimbabwe where he scored a total of 215 runs.

He has been pretty much aggressive in this tournament and has always maintained a strike rate of over 100. He has hit a total of 20 sixes in this World Cup so far. We hope to see many of them in the knock out stages too.

Martin Guptill, 14: Kiwi opener played a memorable innings of 237* against West Indies in quarter-final to shoot up his sixes tally 14. Before today’s innings Guptill had only 3 sixes to his name.

Batting in the opening position, his intent of aggression did manage to get New Zealand to a zone of comfort for a number of times.
