The latest development reveals that Cricket Australia is saving a round of $2 million as wages which will be passed to grassroots cricket, as the staggering amount meant to be spending for wages of the players as it seems the hefty sum could be used in a bid to strengthen the domestic structure.

Talking about the souring relationship between Cricket Australia, the fresh talks has gone in vain which didn’t found any result, as players have disagreed on the recommendations put forth by the cricket governing body of Australia over payment policies.

Interestingly, the tussle between both parties is taking place on grassroots cricket regarding the redirection of the amount, as CA requires $200 million in the time span of five years to form the clubs and overhaul the grassroots in particular.
