India are set to have a mini home season towards the second half of the year. The Men in Blue are set to feature in as many as 23 international matches between September and December.
The busy schedule involves Australia, New Zealand and Sri Lanka visiting India. While the first two are set to play only limited over games, the islanders will be playing a full tour in the subcontinent.
Australia will be the first side to tour India to play 5 ODIs and 3 T20Is. Chennai, Bengaluru, Nagpur, Indore, Kolkata are set to play hosts for the ODIs while Hyderabad, Ranchi, Guwahati will be hosting the T20I series.

New Zealand are set to play 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is after Australia series. Pune, Mumbai, Kanpur are set to host the ODIs against Black Caps and Delhi, Cuttack, Rajkot will be playing hosts for shorter format.

Sri Lanka were originally scheduled to be tour in February but it is preponed as BCCI are keen to make some space to accommodate Independence cup during that window. Sri Lanka will be playing three tests as part of the tour and the board are set to award the three tests to Kolkata, Delhi and Nagpur.

The islanders will also be playing three ODIs in Dharamsala, Mohali, Vizag and three more T20Is in Kochi/Thiruvanantpuram, Indore, Mumbai.

The world’s best test team are currently touring Sri Lanka and will play ODIs and T20I after the three match test series. They will then be back in India to play in the mini home season before touring South Africa and England next year.
Despite the dates not been fixed, the venues for the test series are decided. A complete set of dates alongside venues are expected to be announced by BCCI in the coming days for the grand home season this autumn.
