Manchester United have been heavily linked with a move for the talented Brazilian Roberto Firmino, Bundesliga star has been seen as the solution to United’s woes on the wings.
Despite with the likes of Juan Mata, Ander Herrera, Angel Di Maria in their setup, Firmino is widely believed to seal a starting place in the team when he sins for Van Gaal.
In the recent reports however, United will not find it easy to sign the Brazilian superstar as the Spanish giants Atletico Madrid have entered the race to sign Firmino and they are very interested as well.
Firmino now has the option of choosing between the two clubs who look set to play in next season’s Champions League football.
Atletico Madrid possess the trend of making stars in to superstars in recent seasons and Firmino would be a perfect fit in to Diego Simeone’s setup.
Despite all of this, a tempting offer to join United will not be far from the minds of Brazilian ace Roberto Firmino who is valued at 18.5 million and is believed to have his heart set on the move to Old Trafford.
Firmino is seen as one of the crucial signing to kick start Van Gaal’s reigns at United. Firmino along with Memphis Depay, Mats Hummels and Nigel De Jong head the list of players who will join the Van Gaal revolution next season to trun United in to a Championship materia after the massive overhaul.
