Premier League giants Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool have received positive news on their long term absentees ahead of their upcoming matches.

Arsenal host Liverpool in a massive top 4 battle this weekend and Arsene Wenger will be pleased to know that his injury man Abou Diaby is back in full time training and available for selection for the all-important Liverpool clash.

Diaby has been the most unlucky player in terms of being injured. Since his arrival at Arsenal, he has missed 225 weeks of football. Arsenal fans and players are very pleased to see Diaby back on the football pitch and are hoping for a prolonged stay this time.

Liverpool are buzzing themselves with the return of Lucas Leiva from his recent injury. Lucas has been very active on the social media lately ensuring all the Liverpool fans that he is 100% fit and ready for the Arsenal clash.

Lucas’s comeback would allow Brendan Rodgers to breath a sigh of relief as he will be without his captain Steven Gerrard for next 3 league games due to his ill-tempered red card against Manchester United.

Manchester United and Louis Van Gaal were not expecting Robin Van Persie to come back this early from his foot injury. Van persie took the time out and decided to rehab in his home-country Netherlands and the decision paid off as he has come back 2 weeks ahead of schedule and will be available for selection for United’s next game against Aston Villa.
