One of the most respected Indian captian Dilip Vengsarkar coaches at an academy at the Oval maidan in South Mumbai. Dilip said that he was very much impressed by an 11-year old at the academy.

Sahil Yadav is talented and dedicated to the sport said Vengsarkar. He pointed out that Yadav who hails from a poor family is passionate about cricket that he travels in local train for 65 Kms daily along with his grandmother to practice.

He stays at Badlapur which is approximately 65 kms from the Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus. The kid caught the attention of Vengsarkar at the Azad Maidan when he scored a flawless century for his academy.

Vengsarkar, who was in awe of Yadav, provided him with all cricketing gear. A new kit bag, a good quality bat, gloves and a helmet.  He also said that Yadav should be an inspiration to all the young people who aspire to be cricketers and that the academy is always ready to supports kids with passion.

Vengsarkar who was a very hard worker has been coaching at the maidan for atleast 10 years now. He added that people like Yadav show the true spirit of the nation towards the sport and that he feels that the future of Indian cricket is in good hands.
