The gritty allrounder from Sri-Lanka is good enough to play for any team and it is believed that the DD have a special plan to use Angelo in a way that it would hurt the opponents during the match and his price tag justifies the trust.
4. Mike Hussey
From MI to CSK for 1.5 crore
For Hussey it is an all yellow reunion where he’ll see the insides of the CSK dressing rooms after spending a year along side the grat Sachin Tendulkar and Rikcy Ponting. At 38, his experience and skill set will help CSK a long way in their campaign.
3. Murli Vijay.
From DD to KXIP for 3 crore
Murli Vijay was one hell of a steal for Preity Zinta co-owned team as Vijay is the only player who will provide stability in an otherise explosive batting line-up. Vijay’s past record proves that he is avery good IPL player and if need be he can score qucik runs too.
2. Aaron Finch
From SRH to MI for 3.2 crores
Finch who has played for a host of teams is an explosive batsmen and might just be what MI are looking for at the top of the order. On his day Finch can take away a game almost single handedly and is more than worth his price tag.
1. Yuvraj Singh
From RCB to DD for a whopping 16 crore
In what can be termed as the undisputed king of all transfers in this auction, The DD bought Yuvraj singh who is still one of the most loved player in Indian Cricket for 16 crores. The price tag tells you everything you need to know about the player. This record signing fee means that Yuvi is now the costliest player in IPL and there are not many people who would argue about his worth to the tea.
