Manchester United are front-runners to sign Real Madrid star Sami Khedira as they are ready to offer £200,000 per week for the defensive midfielder.

The 26-year old world cup winner will be out of contract at Santiago Bernabau at the end of the season and will be available for free. This has drawn interest from a host of clubs across Europe and especially from premier league with the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal all being interested.

When it comes to wages and transfer fee Manchester United are head and shoulders above all other clubs in Premier League which might be a decisive factor in signing the defensive play-maker.

The midfielder have also drawn a lot of interest in Germany with Wolfsburg and Schalke are going all-out for his services. His box-to-box ability and aerial prowess would be a great assest in Premier League as more physicality is involved in the league.

The German is often omitted ever since Ancelotti took charge at Bernabau apart from his injury concerns which make him not to sign a new contrat for the defending European Champions Real Madrid.
