While IPL is all about encouraging the young talent, it is a lot about finding talent too, be it old or young. In this entertainment filled sporting season of cricket we have seen many older players prove their worth on this stage. Be it Pravin Tambe, Brad Hogg or Azhar Mahmood. These players have shown in the previous seasons of IPL that if they are also a bunch of youngster when it comes to cricket.

These players have shown great determination to learn even at such an old age and moreover they have also shown great interest in tuning the budding talent. Afterall this is the best part of IPL – we see the youngsters and old players play together, strategise and teach other a trick or two.

At an age of 44 years and 59 days, Brag Hogg will be the oldest player to play in IPL 2015. Hogg, who had mostly played for Rajasthan Royals will now be seen in the jersey of the knights as he would play for Kolkata Knight Riders.

Pravin Tambe would be the second oldest player int the list of oldest player to play in IPL 2015. He will be seen representing Rajasthan Royals. Tambe in the previous season was at the peak of his form as batsmen found it tough to tackle him and lost wickets. He had also got a hat-trick in the last season of IPL. RR squad would be expecting a similar performance from him this season as well.

Azhar Mahood is third player to be aged above 40 in this IPL and will be seen playing with the knights. KKR have taken a bold decision to bring in two senior players as they carry tons of experience with them. It will exciting to see how much of a chance do they get to play the match.
