Parupalli Kashyap beat Brice Leverdez in straight sets 21-6,21-17 in the quarter final of the Singapore Open Super Series just few moments ago. It was a dominating performance by Kashyap as he did not allow French player to make a game out of it.

In the first game P Kashyap started off to good note taking a 2-0 lead. Leverdez took one point back to make it 1-2. P Kashyap then took 5 straight points to make it 6-1. Then both of the players took alternate points till 10-6 in favor of Kashyap. At the interval it was 11-6 in favor of Kashyap. After the interval Leverdez made a lot of unforced errors which Kashyap took advantage of it. Kashyap too played some fantastic shots. Kashyap won the first set 21-6.

In the second game Kashyap took the first point before Leverdez equaled it. Kashyap took 3 successive points to make it 4-1. At 4-1 Leverdez challenged for in and the decision stood. After that both of them took alternate points till 10-7. At the interval it was 11-8 in favor of Kashyap. After the interval Leverdez tried to comeback in the match. Both of them then took again alternate points till end. Kashyap won the second game 21-17.

With this win he enters into the semi finals and will play Hu Yu on Sautrday, 11th April.
