According to latest reports, Manchester United are interested in Paris Saint-Germain’s centre-half Thiago Silva.
Thiago Silva is considered one of the finest centre defenders in the world. The 30-year old is a leader of defense and Manchester United are set to look for the defender if the Red Devils failed to obtain their main defensive target Mats Hummels this season.
Mats Hummels is expected to move away from Borussia Dortmund this summer as they failed to qualify for Champions League this season. Moreover, Mats Hummels is just 26 where as Thiago is 30.
However, Manchester United will look to Thiago as he continued his impressive form this season as he managed to complete 91% of his passes and also won 84% of aerial duels this season.
It will be very difficult for Manchester United to lure the Brazilian defender as he is the captain of PSG and organizes their defense, so PSG might not want to sell their main defensive player.
The player however can be lured as United are willing to pay a wage above £250,000-a-week and PSG will have to sell the pplayer if the player wants to move to Old Trafford this summer.
