With 18 sixes in 10 matches he is second on the list of players to hit most number of sixes in IPL Season 8.
Third place is held by another West Indian player in the form of Keiron Pollard, he represents Mumbai Indians and is on number 3 in the list of players with most sixes in IPL 2015, he has hit 17 sixes in 10 matches.
Shreyas Iyer, who has been opening for Delhi Daredevils is the shocking player of the list. A player who is still in his early 20s has already hit 17 sixes in 10 matches has and has gained the respect of many experts. He has definitely been one of the finds for the 2015 season of IPL and has definitely set a high worth for himself.
Many considered the opening of DD team to be a weak spot as the openers were two inexperienced Indian batsmen, but the type of play Iyer has portrayed and his determination will surely take him ahead in his career as a batsman. Iyer is among 3 Indians in this list, namely Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, which is a great achievement for any youngster.
