Over the years, Gautam Gambhir has been a contender for the opening slot in the Indian team, in limited-overs, at least. A streak of low scores in international cricket saw Gambhir losing his place, however, scoring a bulk of runs in the domestic structure kept his hopes of a return alive.
Gambhir who had played some scintillating knocks for India in past is widely remembered for his match-winning innings of 97 in the 2011 World cup final. Of late, he has been sharing his experience with the youth from time to time.
Recently he uploaded a picture of him sharing his rich experience with youngsters of Vasant Valley School. He shared some valuable insights on the game with the kids and his about how he overcame his struggles on the international front.
Gambhir also did not hesitate in accepting that he faced the best bowling attack and revealed how he outplayed them. Gambhir who never backed down from expressing himself on the field said it was a great pleasure facing young minds and helping them prepare for the challenges they will face in the future.
