Chamara Kapugedara will be seen in action in a matter of a couple of days, as Sri Lanka takes on India in the first ODI of the five-Match series at Dambulla.

The right-hander has become a limited-overs specialist for his side with 98 games under his belt, and he would be hopeful to play a role in reviving Sri Lanka’s fortunes in the limited-overs leg after inflicting a terrible whitewash in the three-match Test series.

Both the teams have arrived in Dambulla and are making most of the free time soaking in the beautiful tropical weather, surrounded by nature’s bounty.

This free time also gave an opportunity for Kapugedara to fulfil one of his Bollywood dreams – to meet his celebrity crush who is currently in Sri Lanka.

Celeb Crush and a Bollywood fan

Bollywood has always broken language barrier and borders. It has spread to countries in South America which there is no cultural connection with Indian. Therefore, it seemed quite natural for Kapugedara to confess that he is a Bollywood follower.

But, it was surprising to know his celeb crush is Anushka Sharma. The Lankan cricketer recently had an opportunity to meet her and posted the picture along with her on Instagram.

Anushka is currently accompanying Indian skipper Virat Kohli in Sri Lanka. The two are officially in a relationship since 2014 and the busy actress, despite a packed schedule, has always tried to make an appearance during matches to support Kohli.
