Evo-Stik Division 1 North side Clitheroe were forced in to embarrassment after one of their strikers Jay Hart was found having sex with one of the fans in manager’s dugout. Clitheroe have acted swiftly by terminating the striker’s contract with immediate effect.
The incident has caught like fire after the entire act was filmed as well. Jay Hart was heard laughing in the footage wearing the club’s t-shirt and trousers, which was rolled down to his ankles. It was a terrible day for the club as they lost the game 4-1 against Mossley AFC. Clitheroe boss Simon Garner has also asked Hart to return the club tracksuit.
Ironically, the game was billed as a “Ladies Day” event to attract more females to the game. In the video face of the fan has been kept blurred to respect her identity. Following the incident, club has immediately sacked Jay Hart and terminated his contract.
Club chairwoman Anne Barker commented on the incident and condemned the shameful act by Jay Hart. Barker said: “Any players, while wearing a Clitheroe tracksuit, represents the club. “We expect a certain level of behaviour and discipline. And that wasn’t it.”
The culprit Jay Hart went onto say: “I’m full of regret. I’d had a couple of drinks. I was away from everyone and thought I was hidden.”
