One of the biggest news in cricket right now is AB De Villiers’ availability in all three formats of the game from October onwards. But his availability to the national team will be without his services as a captain.
AB de Villiers last played a Test match in January 2016. De Villiers captained the African side in both Tests and ODI after the 2011 World cup following Graeme Smith’s retirement. He was also given the responsibility of leading the team in T20’s in 2013 but gave up on it after a year.
