Hashim Amla is gearing up for the World XI tour to travel to Pakistan. He is one of the star players to have agreed to play in Pakistan. The world XI tour is set to a play a T20 series in Pakistan to help revive cricket in the terror struck the country. Hashim Amla will travel to Pakistan along with South African team mates, Faf Du Plessis, Imran Tahir and Morne Morkel.

Ahead of their tour, Hashim Amla said that he excited to travel to Pakistan once again:
“I am looking forward to it. I have been to Pakistan 10 years ago. We had a few people from Cricket South Africa (CSA) who asked us if we were interested. We said we would consider it only after the recommendation of our board and the ICC. Once the security clearance was given, we went ahead.”
Cricket South African has finally been able to arrange a T20 league of their own. Hashim Amla is very excited and wants to focus on the league coming ahead:
“It is a big deal to have a league of our own. We have seen other leagues grow and we took part in them in the last five to 10 years. This is CSA’s own league. It will be a great challenge to be a part of it.” Amla said.
On being asked about who is the best T20 bowler in the world, he picked his team mate Imran Tahir. He picked AB De Villiers as the best T20 batsman and Chris Morris as the best all-rounder. Amla said:
“Thankfully, I have played Tahir in domestic cricket and not international cricket. He has a lot of variations. He is one of the bowlers who always looks to take wickets. You don’t have too many spinners in the world who bowl at the back-end of the innings. You will see fast bowlers who bowl bouncers and yorkers but you don’t see spinners who bowl at the end of the innings. His variations make him special.”
