As each of the world’s top-notch batsmen have different set of skills to execute at the elite-level cricket, embattled country like Pakistan has now found one such young batting prodigy, who is right up there to follow the footsteps of elegant Mohammad Yousuf, who has had been the prominent figure in the international set-up for Pakistan.
The 43-year-old Lahore-born former batsman Yousuf is one of the most technical batsmen countries has ever produced.
We have had witnessed the several batsmen flaying the bowlers on flat pitches, before struggling on a surface which offers a little for the bowling arsenal.
However, the 7-year-old batting star Syed Ameer Hamza has already become the talk of the town, who is known for his technique, will power, grit and determination and is further playing longer innings at such tender age that in sumptuously has awe-inspired many cricketing fans including the management of Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Islamabad United.

In a bid to look after the budding talent, an Islamabad-based outfit which has the motive of ‘United we can’, has organized the talent camp which underwent at Shalimar cricke t ground between 25th and 27th of this month (August), in Islamabad.
The trials further found a star performer Hamza, who not only bosses the gentleman’s game while making the star entry in the ground after wearing all the safety gears but lives it while undergoing rigorous practice on daily basis.
“This boy will do wonders when he grows up and we at Islamabad United will make sure he gets to the top,” Islamabad United maintained in its social media post.
Interestingly, the Wonder kid rose to the occasion when Islamabad United organized a trial camp to nurse the budding talent in the twin cities of Pakistan; Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
The Wah Cantonment-based rookie Hamza has shown great temperament, calm and composed approach with the willow while facing the decent bowlers, who were thrice of his age.
“I am playing and working hard for last three years; I am hopeful to represent Islamabad United ) in the foreseeable future),” Hamza revealed in the 1-minute 13-second video capsule.
The short video revealed Hamza was carrying a kit bag before getting ready with his cricketing gears.
Very confident in the nets, the right-handed batting sensation Hamza showed he has all the shots in his book which further highlighted his great stance, balance, shot selection, and eventually the timing.
Remember the name Hamza, who is bound to be the next big thing in cricket.
