One of the most important advantages of the cash rich IPL is the way that the Indian youngster are able to mingle with the international players and are able to learn things that are important from them.

Deepak Hooda one such youngster who came into limelight after a match winning knock against the Delhi Daredevils said that Kevin Pietersen from England is the player he idolizes the most. He said that KP, who is a hard hitter of the cricket ball, is the closest player to his role in the team that he plays. He added that the aggression showed by KP is what made him like him.

Hooda are also added that he has practiced in the nets for every situation and that his coach and his team mates along with the administration have shown great confidence in him and that it has helped him express himself in the league.

Hooda who was not able to play a single match in the previous editions said that he was able to pick a lot from the player and mentors around him and that it has helped him in this year’s IPL. He also added that Rahul Dravid’s presence in the dressing room makes a lot of youngsters learn a lot of things.

The youngster also thanked the International teammates, Shane Watson and Steve Smith for the confidence that they have shown in him. He also added that they act as an inspiration for him and that they help him even when he was not feeling good about himself. He added that he loves playing for his franchise.
