According to latest reports from Le10 Sport, Real Madrid have decided to cash-in on Karim Benzema this summer and sign a more prolific striker than the Frenchman. With the news of Benzema’s departure, there are several clubs who have already begun to inquire about the possibility signing the French International striker.

Clubs including Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool who are in need of a goal-scoring striker to share the load of getting goals in crucial matches. Arsenal have Olivier Giroud, Manchester United have Wayne Rooney and Liverpool have an injured Daniel Sturridge who can score regularly for their sides.

These clubs see the need of a prolific striker in the squad. All these three clubs are looking to beyond the achievements of this season and to achieve that Benzema would add definite flair and goals to their squad.

The French International has enjoyed a rather successful time at the club, scoring 123 goals in 180 appearances for Real Madrid. The stat looks more than impressive but Benzema has failed to establish himself in his regular starting XI for the Los Blancos.

One of the key criticism for Benzema has been his inability to finish games. He is often substituted on the stroke of 65-70 minute mark. Carlo Nacelotti and Real Madrid want a striker who offers more in terms of the goals and presence across the 90 minutes.

With clubs like Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool interested in Benzema, Real Madrid will extract the best value for the French striker who joined them in the summer of 2009. Benzema is vakued in the region of 40million and clubs will have to pay beyond this figure if they are indeed serious about signing Benzema next season.
