New Zealand Cricket’s three-member delegation has returned home happily after inspecting the ground, security and other facilities of the SCA stadium in Rajkot.
Kane Williamson & Co. are scheduled to visit India next month for a three-match ODI series and as many T20Is. The three-member team comprised of team manager Mike Sandle and a couple of security officials.
“The team led by New Zealand team manager Mike Sandle, team’s security official Gary Cooper and Henry Moore along with Mayank Parikh (BCCI official), visited the SCA stadium couple of days ago,” SCA media manager Himanshu Shah was quoted as saying by PTI.

“They expressed satisfaction with the facilities, infrastructure and condition of the ground,” added Shah.
The limited-overs series will be played from October 22 to November 9. The three ODIs will be played in Pune, Mumbai, Kanpur while Delhi, Cuttack and Rajkot will host the three T20Is.
Meanwhile, this will be the second year in a row that New Zealand will visit India. Last year they had visited the country for a three Tests and five-ODI match series. While the visitors proved no match for Virat Kohli & Co. in the Tests, they gave the hosts a run for their money in the ODI series. The series was decided in the very last match with India thrashing the visitors by a whopping margin of 190 runs to win the series 3-2.
However, considering the current form, New Zealand might find it tough to pose a good challenge against the hosts who recently thrashed Sri Lanka 5-0 at their home.
India, meanwhile, will be playing a five-match ODI and three-match T20I series against Australia before the series against the Black Caps. The series will start on September 17 in Chennai and will conclude with a T20I series on October 13.
