Maxwell tore apart any bowling line up and was having fun on the field rather than taking the pressure on him. But this season Maxwell, after being able to score a mere 75 runs in seven games that he has played has scored less than what he did in the first match of the previous season alone. However it may be wrong to say that the whole team has failed due to the failure of a single batsman as Kings XI Punjab could not win games even when he was replaced.
He also added that he looks at his games in the past where he was good and leaves out matches where he faltered as he feels that it gives him confidence.
