Glenn Maxwell is a kind of a player who will have the world watching him one moment and then criticize him the next. But he says that as a player he has seen the highs and lows of cricket in his career and that the T20 format is a bit of a hit and a miss. Maxwell said that he tries to be match winner in every chance he gets and that he is more than happy with his form and the way he is hitting the ball.

Kings XI Punjab, who took the previous year by a storm with his fearless batting from top to the bottom find themselves at the bottom of this year’s IPL table and the failure in the batting department is the main reason for the loss in form. It is hard to believe that a team that went so close to snatching its maiden IPL title now find themselves knocked out of the league with 3 matches to spare.

The dip in the batting form is depicted perfectly by the form of Glenn Maxwell, who could do nothing wrong in the previous season. Maxwell tore apart any bowling line up and was having fun on the field rather than taking the pressure on him. But this season Maxwell, after being able to score a mere 75 runs in seven games that he has played has scored less than what he did in the first match of the previous season alone. However it may be wrong to say that the whole team has failed due to the failure of a single batsman as Kings XI Punjab could not win games even when he was replaced.

He also added that he looks at his games in the past where he was good and leaves out matches where he faltered as he feels that it gives him confidence.
